**Job Summary:**

A leading healthcare system is seeking an experienced **Director 2, Clinical Engineering** to lead the biomedical services program. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, hands-on technical experience, and a background in managing diverse teams in a healthcare setting. This individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency while supporting clinical and executive leadership.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Oversee the clinical engineering program, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance across all medical equipment.

* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors and technical professionals.

* Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, workflows, and process efficiency.

* Collaborate with clinical and executive teams to align department operations with hospital goals.

* Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable standards (CIHQ, DNV, Joint Commission).

* Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and capital planning initiatives.

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

* Minimum of 5 years managing biomedical services in a large healthcare environment.

* Experience working with hospital leadership and aligning HTM operations with strategic objectives.

* In-depth knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulations.

* Strong leadership skills with a history of managing and developing high-performing teams.

* Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively.

* Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
