Job Description - Director Alliance Partner Management
Description Provides leadership, oversight and Team Management to the Alliance / Partnership group. Oversees team efforts to identify and develop key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities. Recruits, develops and manages strategic alliances / partnerships and opportunity pipelines. Ensures account retention, growth and customer satisfaction. Recruits new alliances / partnerships. Evaluates program performance and trends and works collaboratively across DN Product, Marketing and Sales organizations to enhance business and financial performance. Monitors competitor activity and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement.
Responsibilities
Manages the leadership relationships with strategically and materially significant partner organizations.
Advises partners on industry challenges and helps them derive maximum value from their investment in the DN brand.
Works with partners to identify and establish a strategic roadmap to optimize partnership benefits.
Develops a comprehensive understanding of partner business challenges and objectives, mapping DN's features / capabilities to address their needs.
Works across DN business units / teams to create a holistic approach to address partner needs, mitigate risks and identify areas of potential opportunity.
Collaborates with various product and sales teams to ensure growth attainment and increased footprint.
Serves as a key partner advocate in driving industry best practices and the evolution of DN products and platform functionality, administration and other services.
Contributes thought leadership and best practices internally around strategic challenges and solutions for optimizing the benefits of Alliance / Partner engagement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Typically has 10-12 years of experience in Alliance Partner Management and typically 4-6 years leadership experience.
Fluent business English skills (Written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
Comprehensive Knowledge of Retail Store or Banking Branch procedures and the utilization of technology within the environment.
General knowledge of Diebold Nixdorf products and services is a plus.
Proven track record in leading and developing a Partner Sales Team.
Consultative sales experience at C Level.
Exhibit skills, characteristics, traits and work habits that greatly enhance the likelihood of success as a Sales Manager.
Exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated relationship building skills at all levels of the organization, including senior executive levels.
Proficient in all MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
