Director Business Development

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a Director of Business Development to support growth and partnership development throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties. This highly visible role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with healthcare organizations, including health systems, accountable care organizations (ACOs), provider networks, value-based care partners, and other key referral sources.

Serving as a trusted partner and ambassador for Empath Health, the Director will build executive-level relationships, identify new business opportunities, negotiate strategic partnerships, and collaborate with internal leaders to expand access to hospice and post-acute care services across the market. This hybrid position requires frequent travel throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

What you'll Do

• Identify, develop, and cultivate strategic partnerships that support organizational growth and market expansion.


• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare executives, referral partners, health systems, ACOs, provider networks, and value-based care organizations.


• Lead business development initiatives, including partnership discussions, negotiations, and implementation planning.


• Analyze market trends and evaluate new business opportunities to drive strategic growth.


• Collaborate with operational, clinical, and executive leaders to align partnership strategies with organizational goals.


• Represent Empath Health at industry events, community meetings, and networking opportunities throughout the region.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Five (5)+ years of business development, strategic partnership, healthcare growth, or related experience preferred.


• Proven ability to build relationships and influence executive-level stakeholders and referral partners.


• Strong business acumen with knowledge of healthcare market dynamics and value-based care environments.


• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.


• Ability to travel frequently throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties and other areas within Florida as needed.
