The Director, IAP Business Intelligence is accountable for leading Sector Engagement & Business Insights, E&PS strategic planning, and E&PS global performance management efforts. This role will drive tailored sector / business insights to identify improvement opportunity - better meeting business goals and clearly articulating opportunities and value in business language. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the E&PS strategic planning process (annual BP, Long range financial plan) and oversee progress against that plan.

A suitable candidate will have a collaborative approach, strong relationship-building skills, general management skills, business insight, knowledge of techniques and tools for project management, the ability to lead complexity and comfort with ambiguity, and an excellent customer service mentality - whether the customers are within IAP, E&PS, or the broader J&J organization.Key Responsibilities:

Serve as single-point of contact (SPOC) regarding E&PS Sector Engagement and E&PS Performance Management- and providing strategic support to the E&PS LTDrive E&PS strategic planning across end-to-end planning processDrive performance management process and partner with Global Site & Supply Chain Services group for monthly monitoringEnsure Business Insights Sr. Managers are effectively supporting the Sector Engagement Team & Team Leads and support in driving business outcomesTranslate E&PS budgets, value-tracking, and strategic plan into sector-specific viewsExercise the ability to operate with ambiguity, using unstructured data from multiple sourcesBuild internal and external networks and attend relevant industry conferencesEducation:University/Bachelor's or equivalent degree requiredMasters of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferredProfessional certifications, (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferredExperience and Skills:

Required:Minimum of ten (10) years of related experienceExperience in Strategy, Performance Management, or roles with regular customer connection & insightsExperience in Supply Chain operations or other operations related functionsExperience in performance management and the selection of key performance indicators/metricsExcellence in story-telling communication and communicating complex information to technical and nontechnical customersAbility to analyze and break down complex issues using critical thinking, problem solving, and sound judgementAbility to effectively partner and deliver results in a matrixed environmentSuccessful track record of leading a team across different geographiesStrong program management skills, organization, coordination, and action-tracking skillsExperience with finance, budgets, and driving operational excellenceAbility to function effectively and multitask when presented with timelinesStrong communication and social skills with the capability of interacting with senior business leadersAbility to conduct external engagement and benchmarkingPreferred:Experience within global medical device or pharmaceutical industryExperience in either Facilities, Real Estate, or Project ManagementExperience building strategic relationships with internal and external customersOther:Proficiency in the English language (both verbal and written) is requiredThis position requires up to 30% domestic and international travelThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.The anticipated base pay range for this position is, in the Bay Area, is $163,000 to $281,750The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
