Job Description - Director, Business Optimization and Program Management

Work Location:

Preferred locations (hybrid): Philadelphia, NY, NJ, Denver Position Summary
Eliassen Group (“Eliassen”) is seeking a highly driven and energetic Business Optimization and Program Management Leader to manage strategic client engagements and contribute to the development of our overall Business Optimization practice. This role will work directly with leadership and sales partners to develop relationships with key accounts and drive execution quality and client satisfaction, develop teams, manage practice risk, and grow account revenue and profitability. Responsibilities & Duties
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
• Successfully manage multiple and/or complex consulting projects at one or more clients through direct client service delivery
• Set up processes for delivery and supervise day to day engagement execution, including appropriate scope of work, project approach and planning, resource requirements, team selection and onboarding, deliverable design, recommendation implementation, budget and progress tracking, status reporting, and quality assurance.
• Ensure high quality execution of client deliverables by developing strong partnerships with client’s executive level personnel and key partners, including risk management, compliance, and internal and external auditors.
• Manage current client relationships and work with stakeholders on revenue growth.
• Engage in go-to-market and business development efforts, including identifying opportunities for new business; preparation of proposals, Statements of Work, and client presentations for prospective clients; and liaise with senior and C-level client executives.
• Promote thought leadership and drive best in class solution design and industry awareness of Eliassen Group solutions.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and issues, remain up to date with emerging regulatory requirements, and develop individual and team subject matter expertise.
• Drive development of Professional Services’ Intellectual Property (IP) including methodologies, toolkits, accelerators, and other assets created for the purpose of developing our service offerings.
• Participate in Eliassen organizational development activities, including efforts to establish and enhance the corporate culture for the firm’s consultants (communication activities, corporate social responsibility, recruiting efforts, training opportunities, team building, etc.)
• Time spent traveling up to 50%, depending upon the project.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Data Management, or similar field
• MBA or JD from an accredited college/university preferred.
• 10+ years of business experience in medium to large organizations (public company preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in a Professional Services organization such as Big 4 or other global consulting firm
• Demonstrated track record of managing large and complex consulting engagements; including a role developing strong relationships with senior level client executives
• Extensive experience in the preparation and timely delivery of proposals, statements of work, management presentations and other deliverables developed in a professional services environment
• One or more relevant certifications including, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Six Sigma Black Belt, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Certifications, or other related accounting, process improvement, or technology professional certification is preferred
• Experience with business transformation, change management and process design and improvement required. Experience with these areas in relation to merger integration preferred.
• Experience with ERP and HRIS system selection and implementation preferred.
• Proven ability to support business expansion opportunities within existing accounts and bringing on new business opportunities
• Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company
• Experience building consensus and achieving goals through influence
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion to serve clients and our consulting teams, exhibiting a personal sense of urgency and capacity to overcome obstacles
• Strong project and people management experience, with excellent attention to detail, follow-up and organizational skills
Essential Physical Requirements
• Ability to articulate clearly and conduct verbal presentations with large and small audiences.
• Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane. Must maintain valid driver’s license.
• Ability to view video display terminal images

• Ability to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
• Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifteen (15) pounds.

Base salary range: $140,000 - $150,000
The base salary rate will be commensurate with previous experience and relevant skills and knowledge.”
This position includes additional variable compensation in the form of an annual/quarterly bonus opportunity”.
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans, some with an Employer HSA contribution), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits, basic life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO consisting of 10 holidays, 5 sick days (or more if required by law in the state/locality where you work), 15+ days of vacation (based on tenure), bereavement leave, and 6-12 weeks of paid parental leave.”
