Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Global Services is recruiting for a Director, Business Systems Separation - Project Osprey based in Raritan, NJ.

The Director, Business Systems Separation - Project Osprey is responsible for leading business systems separation activities in support of Project Osprey for MedTech Supply Chain Digital. This position reports to the Senior Director, Office of Strategic Initiatives.   

As part of Project Osprey, i.e. the planned separation of the DPS business from J&J, we are searching for a Director, Business Systems Separation - Project Osprey that can be based in Raritan, NJ. This is a project role expected to last 18-24 months. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead business systems operational separation activities across the business systems separation workstreams 

  • Coordinate separation activities impacting ERP, planning systems, digital applications, contracts, and legal entity structures. 

  • Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and decision-making across impacted workstreams. 

  • Partner with Supply Chain, MTSC Digital, ERP, JJT, Finance, and cross functional Osprey leaders. 

  • Serve as the primary business systems representative for MTSC Digital within Osprey governance forums. 

  • Coordinate readiness planning, testing support, cutover preparation, and stabilization activities. 

  • Support TSA scope, duration, transition planning, and RemainCo readiness activities. 

  • Support reverse TSA planning and ensure MTSC Digital readiness as the catching organization. 

  • Manage and oversee workstream budget exceeding $100 million 

  • Monitor key risks, dependencies, and separation milestones. 

  • Prepare executive-level updates, recommendations, and decision materials. 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  

  • 8–12 years of experience leading complex transformation, supply chain, digital, ERP, or business systems initiatives.  

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization.  

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.  

  • Experience driving operational readiness and business process transformation.  

  • Ability to influence without direct authority across multiple functions.  

 

Preferred  

  • Experience supporting business separations, carve-outs, mergers, or acquisitions.  

  • Knowledge of ERP and supply chain systems.  

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments.  

  • Healthcare, MedTech, or manufacturing experience preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
