Job Description - Director, CAD Sales - Americas

Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow \u2013 all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible. \n\nPTC is looking for an ambitious Regional Director of CAD Sales in the Americas to lead the sales of PTC\u2019s industry leading Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and continue our track record of double-digit growth. \n\nThe right candidate will be responsible for building and leading a world-class sales team, developing top-tier talent, executing value-based expansion plays, partnering with the field selling ecosystem, product management, marketing, inside sales, and other functional organizations to drive new ACV bookings within the US.\n\nThe right candidate is truly passionate about PTC, the CAD business, has a proven track record of value-based selling success, has experience quarterbacking deals his/herself including prospecting, qualifying, maturing, and negotiating deals, and now would like to drive that sales excellence with one of PTC\u2019s most important businesses.\n\nResponsibilities: \n\n * Develop and implement a comprehensive Americas CAD sales strategy aligned with company goals and objectives to drive double digit revenue growth and market expansion. \n\n\n\n\n * Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of CAD sales professionals, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to achieve individual and team targets. \n\n\n\n\n * Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and optimize sales territories for optimal coverage.\n\n\n\n\n * Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities. \n\n\n\n\n * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage. \n\n\n\n\n * Drive New ACV Growth and pipeline creation according to plan and manage all KPIs (i.e. New ACV, New bookings by driver, churn, etc) according to RD MOR.\n\n\n\n\n * Enable sales team with Field Academy training, Mastering the Customer Conversation Skills, and other techniques to build team\u0027s product knowledge, sales techniques, and overall effectiveness. \n\n\n\n\n * Work closely with regional sales leadership, inside sales, marketing, product management, and customer support teams to drive effective go-to-market strategies and ensure customer success. \n\n\n\n\n * Manage and allocate regional sales budgets effectively to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomes. \n\n\n\n\n * Conduct weekly forecast reviews weekly to track and drive maturation of existing opportunities and encourage additional opportunities\n\n\n\n\nSkills and Knowledge: \n\n * Leadership skills with the ability to inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets. \n\n\n\n\n * Understanding of the CAD industry core solutions, main competitors, and disruptive/emerging technologies. \n\n\n\n\n * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. \n\n\n\n\n * Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to drive data-based decision-making. \n\n\n\n\n * Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and cultivate successful customer relationships. \n\n\n\n\n * Proficiency in using SFDC CRM, Qlik analytics tools, and Clari Forecast Management software and other sales-related tools. \n\n\n\n\n * Outstanding organizational and time management abilities. \n\n\n\n\n * Creative, collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively across various territories and regions in North America.\n\n\n\n\nExperience / Min Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.\n\n\n\n\n * Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD sales. \n\n\n\n\n * Proven track record of achieving and exceeding annual sales targets and objectives.\n\n\n\n\n * Demonstrated success in managing a high-performing sales team. \n\n\n\n\n * Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers.\n\n\n\n\n * Ability to travel within the US as needed.\n\n\n\n\nPTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $250,000 - $275,000. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. \n\nActual compensation may vary based on a candidate\u0027s skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
