Remote; but prefer that candidate is located to Melbourne, FL; Camden, NJ; or Northampton, MA Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: Provide leadership of the Maritime Sector Contracts organization of approximately 45 Contracts Professionals spanning across 4 divisions and more than 20 domestic and international locations. With approximately $2B of annual revenue, this dynamic portfolio has a wide range of diverse customers with complex contractual arrangements that require expertise and creativity in all facets of contracting. Essential Functions: Proactive, engaged and influential member of the Sector Leadership Team. Strategically focused, this leader will drive solutions that meet the company’s financial commitments while also being a strong advocate for the customer. Develop the Contracts Organization to ensure optimum contractual support. This includes assessing talent and staffing levels throughout the Sector. Provide contractual direction and guidance for the Sector in all phases of the business cycle (pre-proposal, proposal, negotiation, and post-award). Provide leadership, oversight, direction and guidance of compliance awareness with contract and regulatory requirements as well as L3HARRIS policies and procedures. Provide direction and guidance in establishing consistent training objectives to enhance employee competencies and skills for a best-in-class contracts organization. Develop strong, ongoing relationships with internal/external customers Provide strategic support regarding disputes (e.g., Claims/REAs). Oversees commercial, international and government contract development and management activities, and enforces organizational principles of integrity, accountability and compliance. Works closely with government stakeholders and corporate representatives for Legal, Contracts, Export, Import, Customs/Traffic, Intellectual Property and Anti-Bribery Compliance. Qualifications:
Subject matter expertise in Government and International contracting Strong business acumen. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field 10+ years of experience with leadership in contracts management, including overseeing large, complex proposals and negotiations. Demonstrated experience in leading complex contracts organizations Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and the FAR, DFAR, ITAR and other government procurement regulations. This position will require the individual to be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
