Job Description - Director, Experience Center Sales


Description



The Director, Experience Center (XC) Sales is responsible for establishing and executing on the XC Sales strategy and programs.  This role oversees a team of Sales Coaches that provide coaching to drive performance and develop/deepen existing member relationships to meet enterprise goals through solutions, education, and advice. Additionally leads all strategy, programs, development of bankers and incentive planning for XC Channel.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of high-performing and engaged employees through effective people leadership practices including regular communication of performance expectations and feedback to employees to maintain high team performance; provide coaching and corrective action as required; actively support employee professional growth and development
  • Meet established department metrics including high quality member experience, effectiveness and efficiency; update VP on all major projects, employee matters, and goal progress
  • Develop and implement the end-to-end sales program and partner with the XC Training team to train, deliver, and enhance content
  • Collaborate and calibrate with XC senior leadership to ensure consistent experience across the XC channel
  • Develop, track and report key sales performance measurements for the sales coaches and member relationship managers
  • Partner with XC leadership and Regional Directors to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales teams and make the necessary adjustments to drive performance and organizational goals
  • Follow up to ensure proper execution of the developed coaching plans and partner with XC leadership and Regional Directors to determine next steps for coaching and action planning
  • Deliver training and direction on incentive plans, sales strategies and behaviors that enhance the membership experience and empower employees and leaders
  • Reinforce the adoption and usage of sales strategy, business processes, systems, and technology through observation
 
Experience and Education Requirement:
  • Minimum Education:  Bachelor’s degree is preferred 
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in retail or outbound sales environment in the financial services industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a diverse team including hiring, coaching and performance management
  • Ability to create and deliver a business plan and strategy that aligns with each business unit and credit union directives
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, handling a variety of responsibilities simultaneously
  • Experience in business program analysis, evaluation, and implementation in retail financial services environment preferred 
  • Ability to use data and analytic information to gain insights and drive strategic direction
  • Ability to deliver effective stakeholder presentations to both peer and executive level audiences
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts; able to write/speak clearly and professionally tailoring the message to various audiences, including leadership, technical teams, and member support teams
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal 
  • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines
  • Broad knowledge of credit union operations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

 Location:   Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)

 Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR, 97124:  $120,000 to $140,000 annually + annual bonus
