Director, Extended Day Program

Princeton Junior School, a vibrant and inclusive community, is seeking a part-time, dedicated Director for our Extended Day Program starting Fall 2024. Join us in nurturing creativity and a love for learning in children from ages 2 to Grade 6.

Responsibilities:
Co-lead the After School team, working Monday through Friday, 3-6 PM.
Prepare and lead a variety of activities, both structured and informal.
Regularly communicate with families to update them on child progress and program events.
Collaborate with the Extended Day team on program planning and execution.
Manage attendance systems and oversee program logistics.
Qualifications:
Experience in designing creative curricula that engage children across multiple age groups.
Demonstrated sensitivity to the individual and group needs of children.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of fostering a positive discipline environment.
International applicants must have a US work visa in place.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively interact with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Interest or experience in global or multicultural education.
Proven ability in leading activities such as art, drama, music, literacy, etc.
Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and community service.
