Description
The Director of the Foundation will oversee the daily execution of the Foundation’s programs and initiatives. This position will focus on securing and managing philanthropic partnerships, representing the Foundation within the community, managing the daily operations of the Foundation, and any fundraising activities the Foundation undertakes. The Director will work closely with Internal departments, community leaders, and charitable partners to drive visibility and raise funds for the Foundation’s mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work to solidify the pillar of the Foundation within the community, ensuring that IMCF Fans and global fans know what the mission and vision of the Foundation is.
· Develop strategic plans to raise awareness and funds.
· Lead the creation, development and management of the Foundation, ensuring it meets key performance and fundraising goals.
· Ensure that required documents and filings are up to date.
· Establish and nurture relationships with community partners, local and global charities, and governmental agencies.
· Secure gifts, grants and partnerships to support the Foundation’s initiatives, with a focus on long-term sustainability.
· Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to ensure promotional efforts align with the Foundation’s goals.
· Plan and execute fundraising events, charitable campaigns and outreach programs, leveraging support from staff, fans and sponsors.
· Manage the day-to-day relationship with UNICEF, making sure the Foundation is meeting contractual obligations and working with UNICEF of goal specific awareness and fundraising campaigns.
· Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned to further the Foundation’s impact.
· All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in fundraising, non-profit, business or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, community relations, fundraising, or a similar field.
· Demonstrated success in securing and managing charitable partnerships and fundraising efforts.
· Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Familiarity with soccer and sports foundations is preferred.
· Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency is a plus.
· Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
