Lead the development and execution of Daiichi Sankyo's global oncology patient advocacy strategy to ensure the patient perspective is meaningfully integrated across the product lifecycle. Drive strategic alignment of patient advocacy activities across regions and affiliates, establish global standards and best practices, and build capabilities that enable consistent, patient-centered approaches throughout the organization. Serve as a key strategic partner to Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and cross-functional teams to incorporate patient insights and patient experience data into clinical development plans, protocol design, evidence generation, and broader organizational decision-making. Foster strong relationships with global patient advocacy organizations and patient communities to ensure patient needs, priorities, and perspectives are reflected in Daiichi Sankyo's oncology strategy and activities.

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, healthcare, public health, social sciences, or a related discipline required. Master's Degree MPH, MBA PharmD or PhD preferred
Experience Qualifications
10 or More Years overall related experience or commensurate education and experience (with at least 8 of the 10 being professional level experience) required
7 or More Years progressive experience in patient advocacy, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, clinical development, medical affairs, public health, or related fields required required
Demonstrated experience developing and executing global patient advocacy, patient engagement, or patient-centered strategies required
Experience working with patient advocacy organizations, patient communities, and external stakeholders on a global scale preferred
Experience collaborating with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, R&D, and/or Evidence Generation teams preferred
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills; competent and confident in presenting to senior leadership as well as in lay terms to appropriately engage with patients and advocates required
Demonstrated experience incorporating patient perspectives into clinical development, study design, protocol development, patient experience initiatives, or evidence generation activities preferred
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across regions and organizational levels required
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time. Ability to travel up to 30-40%
