Who We Are
BioMarin is a leading rare disease biotechnology company focused on genetically defined conditions.
Guided by our purpose to develop medicines that make a profound impact on people’s lives, our global teams have delivered a portfolio of therapies since our founding in 1997. Our revolutionary treatments for conditions like achondroplasia (the most common form of dwarfism), PKU (phenylketonuria), CLN2, a form of Batten disease, and a number of forms of MPS (mucopolysaccharidosis) offer new possibilities for patients and families who previously had few, if any, available options. More recently, with the close of the Amicus acquisition, our portfolio has expanded to include therapies for Fabry disease and Pompe disease, expanding our ability to reach more people living with rare genetic conditions.
Our success comes from our unwavering commitment to excellence, our deep understanding of patient needs, our scientific expertise, and our world-class manufacturing capabilities. At the heart of BioMarin is a dedicated team of the brightest minds in the industry working together to deliver innovative therapies to patients and families around the world.

The Director, Head of Performance Management, Advanced Analytics and Reporting leads the development of a business-driven, centralized data and analytics capability that serves as the backbone for performance management, reporting, and advanced analytics across the commercial organization. The role is accountable for translating evolving business priorities—such as growth, market expansion, and product launches—into a scalable analytics ecosystem, standardized KPIs, and AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring data is transformed into actionable insights that directly drive decision-making and performance.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Insights & Performance Excellence, this role operates at the intersection of business, data, and technology. The Director leads a multidisciplinary team of regional business partners and centralized analytics experts, while collaborating closely with Business Units, Regional Leadership, FP&A, Digital, and CFIT/IT. Together, these partnerships enable the delivery of an integrated, end-to-end view of commercial performance—connecting execution, insights, and outcomes into a single, consistent performance narrative across markets.
This role will play a critical leadership role in transforming the analytics operating model from a centralized, IT-dependent approach to a business-driven, self-service ecosystem enabled by modern data platforms and AI capabilities. The Director will drive the evolution of reporting and analytics to empower business users to independently access insights, customize analyses, and make faster, data-driven decisions—reducing reliance on others for standard reporting needs. This requires a leader with proven experience leading large-scale analytics transformations, not only managing reporting operations.
