Director, Health Informatics

The Director, Health Informatics leads the strategy development and execution of health information technology (HIT) capabilities that enable Alnylam engagement with healthcare systems and providers.\n\n \n\nThis role partners with U.S. health systems to help harness EHR capabilities and digital solutions to advance care delivery and improve patient outcome for rare disease patients across Alnylam\u2019s portfolio.\n\n \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n \n\n * Conduct workflow and technology assessments in collaboration with health systems to identify digital HIT solutions (e.g., EHR-embedded tools) to improve care pathways and outcomes across the patient journey.\n * Develop and lead integration of digital HIT solutions (including but not limited to diagnostic, referrals, and disease management workflow) and other educational resources to support patient identification, diagnosis and treatment workflows, and outcomes tracking within U.S. health systems.\n * Collaborate with Strategic Accounts, Market Access, Patient Services, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional field teams to integrate informatics capabilities into account planning, health systems strategies, launch planning and lifecycle management.\n * Identify and develop strategic collaborations with HIT vendors, digital health partners, and ecosystem stakeholders where appropriate.\n * Support population health and data\u2011driven initiatives aligned to Alnylam portfolio strategy and therapeutic priorities.\n\n\n\n \n\nQualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree required in life sciences, healthcare, business, health information systems or related field; Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS or similar) preferred\n * 8-10+ years of biopharma experience in health informatics; Prior experience working within health systems preferred\n * Deep understanding of U.S. health system environments\n * Strong acumen in U.S. healthcare compliance guidelines, laws, and practices\n * Track record of designing and implementing innovative solutions within U.S. health systems through open collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders\n * Flexibility to travel to Alnylam HQ and/or customers (at least 20%)\n\n\n\n \n\nKey Competencies\n\n * Strategic thinking and structured problem solving\n * Executive presence with strong communications and presentation skills\n * Cross\u2011functional collaboration\n * Comfort operating in evolving, ambiguous environments\n * Deep understanding of EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, etc.)\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.)\n\n\n\nU.S. Pay Range\n\n$201,500.00 - $272,600.00\n\nThe pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
