Job Description - Director, Health Systems Marketing

Overview \n\n \n\nThe Director, Health Systems Marketing is responsible for developing marketing strategies for integrated health systems (IDNs / IPNs) and delivering marketing resources and programs to drive differentiated engagement with Care Delivery Executives (e.g., C/D-suite leaders across clinical, operational, and population health within health systems).\n\n \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n \n\nStrategy development\n\n * Lead the development and refresh of Alnylam\u2019s U.S. health systems marketing strategy in partnership with Strategic Accounts Leads, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders, grounded in market research insights \u0026 quantitative landscape data \u0026 analytics\n * Lead segmentation \u0026 prioritization of IDN/IPNs and organized customers to help inform health systems marketing strategy and field execution\n\n\n\nMarketing tactics design \u0026 execution\n\n * Design and execute health systems marketing campaigns, including tactics and contents such as value propositions and messages tailored to Care Delivery Executives to further education on Alnylam\u2019s therapies and disease areas\n * Support planning and implementation of peer-to-peer programs, conferences, and other programs\n * Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance to ensure compliant development and execution of marketing initiatives\n * Ensure effective agency management and resource allocation\n\n\n\nEnterprise Strategic Initiatives\n\n * Actively participate and support Alnylam\u2019s enterprise (TTR and Rare) strategic initiatives as a subject matter experts on U.S. health systems strategy and marketing\n\n\n\n \n\nQualifications\n\n \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree required in healthcare or business or related field; Advanced degree (MBA, MS or similar) preferred\n * 10-12+ years of biopharma commercial experience with 3-5+ years in health systems / account-based marketing; rare disease marketing experience is preferred\n * Track record of developing and implementing account-based marketing tactics and resources through open collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders\n * Deep understanding of U.S. health system environments\n * Strong acumen in U.S. healthcare compliance guidelines, laws, and practices\n\n\n\n \n\nKey Competencies\n\n \n\n * Ability to set strategic vision, develop and rapidly action on robust plans\n * Thoughtful and agile identification and resolution of problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\n * Strategic thinking and structured problem solving\n * Ability to work collaboratively across expertise areas and functions\n * Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritizing work with the ability to consistently achieve measurable impact\n * Executive presence with strong communications and presentation skills\n * High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.)\n\n\n\n \n\nLocation: HQ / Hybrid; Flexibility to co-locate at Alnylam HQ at least 2+ days a week on average and travel to key conferences and internal meetings\n\nU.S. Pay Range\n\n$201,900.00 - $273,100.00\n\nThe pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
