Director, Hospice

VCU Health Hospice at Home by BAYADA is seeking a motivated Hospice Operations Director to join our team in Richmond, VA. This office provides best in class care to hospice clients in their homes throughout Richmond and surrounding counties. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm EST in person.

Responsibilities for a Director

• Lead, inspire and motivate others to provide exceptional care


• Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with employees, referral sources, and community resources while growing the office


• Responsible for the management and operations of the office, including business development, budgeting, planning, recruiting and fiscal management


• Monitor the quality and appropriateness of all services provided by your staff to ensure compliance and client satisfaction while ensuring adequate staff education, training and evaluation

Qualifications for a Director: 

• At least 2 years proven, progressive health care management experience


• Bachelor’s degree required


• Preferred clinical background: Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Licensed Social Worker, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).


• Hospice, Home Health, or Home Care strongly preferred 


• Demonstrate record of goal achievement and successfully taking on increased responsibility with positive results
