Blockhouse builds machine learning–driven execution algorithms and predictive analytics for institutional trading desks. Our platform is engineered to minimize slippage, adapt dynamically to market conditions, and optimize routing across fragmented venues — with measurable, real-world performance. We are live (rates, equities, crypto) and rapidly scaling to $1B+ in traded volume per month over the next 12 months — and we’re hiring a proven revenue leader to help us get there.
We’re looking for a high-performing institutional salesperson with deep roots in the hedge fund and trading community. You’ll lead direct sales of our execution algo + TCA platform to different segments of financial institutions — owning everything from prospecting to trading kickoff. This role is for a closer with credibility, client trust, and a track record of driving serious order flow.
Originate, manage, and close client relationships across hedge funds, broker-dealers, exchanges, prop firms, and institutional trading desks.
Act as a trusted advisor and translate Blockhouse’s execution capabilities into clear ROI for heads of trading, PMs, and COOs.
Prioritize, sequence, and close institutional prospects across asset classes and fund types.
Collaborate with the founding team on GTM messaging, pipeline strategy, pricing models, and volume-based incentives.
Support integration and trading kickoff for high-value clients, ensuring successful onboarding and measurable cost improvement.
Shape pricing models and incentive structures aligned to order volume growth.
Track toward a clear goal: $10B+ in annual traded flow.
7+ years in institutional sales, execution services, or electronic trading.
Proven track record selling to buy- and sell-side execution teams, from $250M SMAs to $10B+ multi-strats, broker-dealers, and trading venues.
Strong network across macro funds, quant/systematic managers, multi-asset platforms, agency desks, exchanges, and active managers.
Prior experience at an execution-focused firm.
Deep understanding of execution workflows, routing logic, FIX integration, and performance metrics.
Ability to operate with precision in long-cycle, high-volume sales environments.

You’ll earn $200K–$400K cash, plus performance-based bonuses tied to volume, revenue, and client activation. You’ll also receive foundational equity that compounds as Blockhouse becomes the execution layer for modern trading.
Base Salary: $200K–$400K, depending on experience
Bonus: Performance-based, tied to traded volume and revenue milestones
Equity: Early-stage options with meaningful upside
Location: NYC strongly preferred (hybrid OK); remote considered for exceptional candidates.
