The candidate will engage in cross-functional efforts to derisk novel oligonucleotide constructs conjugated to a variety of ligands, including antibodies, peptides, and small molecules, will be responsible for addressing mechanisms of toxicities across tissues, and will lead early target safety assessment across the portfolio. This position is onsite and will be located in Cambridge, MA. Ph.D. in Immunology and/or Cellular Toxicology or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in industry or academia; DABT certification is a plus Experience in nonclinical safety assessment of antibodies and/or peptides Track record in successfully addressing cellular/biochemical mechanisms of drug-related toxicities Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent organization, team management, and communication skills are required Based on Nobel Prize-winning science, RNAi therapeutics represent a powerful, clinically validated approach to treating diseases at their genetic source by "interfering" with mRNA that cause or contribute to disease.
