J.D or equivalent law degree plus a Bachelor's degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent is strongly preferred. Substantial experience in working in an IPR organization plus a proven track record of success closing licensing deals. Over 10 years of experience working in an IPR organization ideally with hands on experience in IP licensing, Patent Pool management, IP related business development, Patent portfolio management, and patent technical analysis. Experience supporting IP Licensing organizations in a variety of capacities including business or technical analysis, portfolio management, business development, or other experiences supporting IP monetization efforts. In-depth knowledge of general patent licensing practices, SEP licensing, IP law, contracts, and patent assertion. Self-starter, motivated, and driven to develop prospects, initiate licensing campaigns, and support IP licensing negotiations alongside Licensing Directors. Team player with the ability to partner with cross functional groups, including Patent Assertion, IP Strategy, Legal, and Management. Advanced Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or equivalent.
