The Director of Business Systems Administration provides leadership over a multi-team organization of Business Systems Administrators supporting enterprise platforms including ERP, MES, CRM, and other critical business applications across Enterprise, Construction, and Manufacturing systems. The Director of Business Systems is responsible for setting the strategic direction for business systems support, ensuring consistent service delivery across all teams, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with senior business stakeholders, technology leadership, operations, and external vendors to align systems capabilities with enterprise and manufacturing priorities. The Director of Business Systems will oversee budgeting and resource planning, manage complex vendor and contract relationships, ensure adherence to ITIL and other governance frameworks, and serve as the escalation point for high-impact incidents and cross-team challenges. The Director of Business Systems is also responsible for developing and coaching direct reports, building a high-performing organization capable of supporting the company’s evolving technology landscape.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience: 8+ years of experience leading business systems teams, application support teams, or a related teams, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role preferred, additional preferred experience includes:
Travel: 0-20%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday–Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
