This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic and empathetic operator. The Director oversees all day and residential disability services, manages staff and operations, and works with agency leadership to strengthen programs, compliance, and quality of care. This role is critical to the well-being of our residents, the confidence of their families, and the long-term growth of the program. • Promote a healthy environment, including meals, activity levels, socialization, and reduction of passive programming.
  • Collaborate with healthcare partners to support resident wellness.

Employment Readiness

  • Oversee or initiate employment-related programming or partnerships.
  • Work toward opportunities that enhance clients' independence, purpose, and routine.

Staff & Culture

  • Hire, train, supervise, and develop program staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compassion, and team collaboration.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, guardians, volunteers, and external partners.

Community & Visibility

  • Build relationships that attract clients, families, volunteers, and community support.
  • Represent the program in external settings with warmth, professionalism, and credibility.

Operations & Fiscal Management

  • Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor overtime and maintain financial performance within approved parameters.
  • Oversee transportation, safety, and facility maintenance with delegated staff support.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain full compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements, including COA, FDOT, and other relevant standards.
  • Support audit readiness, reporting, and documentation expectations.
