Job Description
The Market Team Leader must be an energetic and self-motivated individual who demonstrates the motivation and passion for providing leadership, client development and business growth for a multidisciplinary AEC team. Driving a team to meet client needs, maintaining our culture, and delivering solid project results will be essential. This role requires a strong focus on market understanding and developing strategic relationships with new and existing clients. The Market Team Leader should be able to demonstrate flexibility in working with a variety of key stakeholders both inside and outside the organization to meet regional business goals. The Market Team Leader will report to the Regional Vice President of Operations.
The expectation is that the Market Team Leader will spend 40% of their time focused on managing relationships with key and core clients and expanding our client portfolio in identified markets, and 60% of their time leading others and ensuring project performance aligns with business KPIs. The Market Team Leader will coordinate with other Market Team / Operations Leaders to ensure the region maintains the appropriate contract backlog to meet design and construction sales / revenue and profit goals.
Responsible for Team / Project Performance in line with Market Business Plan Goals Hitting Regional Team Revenue + Profit Goals Coordinating with Peers to Manage Regional Workload Assist with the growth of other market teams nationally Manage Group Leads and Key Team Resources with a Focus on People Development Interface with Operations Team for Consistent use of Project ExecutionDelivery Methods Coordinating with Regional Director of BD / Account Management on Market Focus,Trends, and Developing New Solutions Manage Core / Key Clients + Growing New Client Portfolio Developing Winning Project Strategies and Providing Leadership to Project Execution Teams Oversee Team Project Performance + Ensure a Great Client Experience Assist in Trade Partner Relationship Development Drive a Culture of Great People Experiences
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field Minimum two years’ experience in people / project management Strong business management, developmental and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills
