- Leading the development and execution of a 5-year footwear merchandising strategy tailored to the unique consumer, market and business needs of the North America marketplace, enabling Arc’teryx to be a pinnacle Footwear brand in run, hike, and climb
- Acting as the key regional partner to the Global Product Management team, ensuring global footwear line plans are efficiently adapted and optimized for the local market
- Driving cross-functional collaboration across Brand Marketing, Merchandise Planning & Allocations, Commercial, and Supply Chain to meet sales, margin, and inventory efficiency targets across all NAM business channels
- Providing regular strategic insights based on consumer data, market dynamics, and in-store feedback to inform assortment planning and seasonal buying decisions
- Driving the regional GTM process to ensure product stores, pricing architecture, and channel segmentation are executed with maximum consumer and commercial impact
- Partnering across the Footwear Business Unit to bring complete stories to life across a diverse North America marketplace, inclusive of direct-to-consumer, ecommerce, and various wholesale channels
- Translating consumer and competitive insights into actionable merchandising strategies
- Driving the development and implementation of tools to evolve regional merchandising operations and drive efficiencies
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

- Collaborating with leaders cross-functionally to build and test completely new product concepts in emerging market segments

- Partner with Merchandise Planning, Finance and Commercial teams in setting and executing category targets
- Engaging with wholesale partners to understand how to segment the North America marketplace with focus on sustainable and profitable growth

- You have 10+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer merchandising with product-led footwear brands
- You have strong experience in end-to-end merchandise buying and lifecycle management for Footwear in the North America direct-to-consumer retail market
- You have strong analytical skills with a keen understanding of consumer insights and market trends, and you are proficient in interpreting retail performance reports
- You are product-obsessed, with a drive for understanding the “why” behind new products, and an unparallel capacity for product knowledge
- You have expertise in driving strategy, line planning and line architecture
- You have a proven track record in developing and leading the execution of a multi-year business strategy
- You have strong presentation skills and are comfortable sharing strategies with senior leaders
