Director of Accounting

• Responsible for all day to day general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, and general ledger. 
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes to ensure completeness and accuracy. 
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. 
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function. 
• Ensure the company’s accounting policies and procedures are up to date and effectively communicated. 
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and local, state, and federal laws 
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information 
• Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions during audits, inspections, or reviews. 

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA or Master’s degree preferred. 
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience. 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements. 
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Quickbooks preferred. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments. 
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. 
• Experience in semiconductor industry is required 
• International Accounting and consolidation experience is preferred 
• Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
