Overview:

Symbiotic Services is seeking a Director of Finance to support the operations of a leading furniture manufacturing organization. Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with executive leadership, this individual will play a pivotal role in financial strategy, planning, and analysis to drive operational and financial excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting including forecasting, budgeting, board presentations, and performance metrics
  


• Provide detailed financial modeling and variance analysis related to budget and forecast
  


• Support pricing and costing functions, ensuring up\-to\-date and accurate financial data (BOMs)
  


• Perform capital investment analysis using tools like NPV and IRR
  


• Develop, track, and present KPIs to key stakeholders
  


• Create and manage complex financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives and operational strategies
  


• Utilize statistical and predictive modeling to identify business opportunities and drive profitability
  

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a finance leader with a strong track record in both strategic and operational roles
  


• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
  


• Expert in Excel modeling and dashboard creation
  


• Proficient with ERP systems and financial planning tools
  


• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast\-paced environment
  


• Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills
  


• Self\-motivated, results\-driven, and collaborative team player
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics (Master’s degree preferred)
  


• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  


• Financial planning and operational improvement expertise
  


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the furniture industry
  


• Proficient in MS Office, Oracle Suite, and business intelligence tools
  


• Experience with Power BI and Hyperion is a plus
