Overview of the Director of Accounting role:

Protect assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls

Oversee a by managing multiple accountants engaged in high volume work, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, etc...

Prepare and present monthly financial reports

Establish schedules and manage reconciliation of company bank accounts and intercompany financial statements

Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Accounting:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related

CPA

8-15 years' progressive experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting standards
