Director of Adult Clinical Services

Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health (COCMHC) in Norman, OK is seeking to fill their full-time Director of Adult Clinical Services position. Qualified candidates must be a fully licensed LPC, LMFT, or LCSW and in good standing. The position requires clinical management, program development, and oversight of adult outpatient behavioral health programs for individual, family, group, and school-based services. Candidate should be detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, and be able to comply with Medicaid and State of Oklahoma/Health Care Authority documentation and policy requirements and have experience in adult mental health setting. Hours vary based on program and client need; on-call and afterhours may be necessary.

Job Type/Salary:

• Full-time position

• Salary: $83,000.00 ($39.30/ hr) not including the benefit allowance!

• FLSA Status: Exempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have a master’s degree in behavioral science.

• Four (4) years’ professional experience working with clients who have both mental illness and addiction issues or in a position with a dual emphasis (One (1) year of the required experience shall be in a supervisory capacity).

• Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional per Title 43A of the Oklahoma Statutes.

• Preference will be given to current ODMHSAS employees.

About this Facility: COCMHC was opened in 1968 and was the nation’s first community mental health center. It was funded through a federal grant program that has resulted in similar facilities throughout the country. Built on the premise that people suffering from mental illnesses would be better served in the community as opposed to an institution, the center has played a pivotal role in restoring the lives of countless area residents. COCMHC was awarded a CARF Three-Year Accreditation for the following programs: PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment), Evaluation and Referral, Adult Outpatient, Team Green PSR (Psychiatric Rehabilitation), Systems of Care and Transitional Services, and Child and Family Services. COCMHC is in Norman, Oklahoma and employs approximately 95 individuals from Norman and surrounding communities.
