Position Summary:
The Day Program Director at EIG Services LLC is responsible for overseeing the operations of our licensed 2380 Adult Training Facility and Community Participation Supports (CPS) programming. This leadership role is focused on ensuring person-centered, compliant, and outcome-driven services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Director will foster a positive and inclusive culture that empowers staff, promotes growth, and ensures the highest standard of care and engagement for the individuals we support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Adult Training Facility and Community Supports Programs.
- Inspire and lead a unified vision for inclusive, quality-driven programming for adults with IDD.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing, documentation, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 2380/6100 regulations and ensure program alignment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet internal and external standards.
- Create, manage, and monitor program budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
- Supervise and mentor Day Program staff, including Coordinators, DSPs, and activity facilitators.
- Facilitate staff development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Lead the onboarding of new staff, develop job descriptions, and support hiring processes.
- Ensure program planning and ISP goals are implemented and reflected in daily programming.
- Promote an outcome-focused, person-centered approach across all services.
- Foster collaboration across departments, leading interdepartmental and administrative meetings as needed.
- Support EIG’s growth by assisting with program expansion, transitions, and special projects.
- Serve as a liaison with family members, community stakeholders, and external agencies.
- Advocate for the program’s goals and needs in meetings with ODP, advisory boards, and provider coalitions.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and engaging culture for both staff and program participants.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Must meet one of the following:
- Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours + 4 years of experience with individuals with IDD

- Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of experience

- Master’s Degree + 1 year of experience

- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in human services (IDD/Day Program experience preferred)
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven leadership and team development abilities
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Microsoft Teams a plus
- Experience in budget management and service forecasting
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance practices
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, individuals served, and families
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
