KEY ATTRIBUTES
We are seeking a Director of Advancement & Marketing with proven success in fundraising as well as in the direct solicitation of charitable gifts. They will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with our constituents and motivate volunteers and staff members. They will serve as an integral part of our leadership team, building community and cultivating relationships with alumni, parents, and staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In conjunction with the Director of Finance and Operations, establish and execute a fundraising budget to support current needs and grow in anticipation of future projects
Oversee all aspects of advancement including fundraising, leading the annual giving campaign, guiding any potential capital campaigns, soliciting corporate and foundation proposal and creating strong alumni relationships
Plan and execute all aspects of any fundraising strategic special events
Identify and implement a diverse and multifaceted fundraising program and cultivate giving across all constituencies and socio-economic strata
Collaborate with the Director of Admission and the Marketing Assistant to create/produce materials that expand and enhance the schools visibility and reputation
Identify corporate funding opportunities and help draft grant applications
Review and oversee gift acknowledgement, acceptance and processing system
Collect and analyze data for fundraising and for marketing
Nurture and maintain a highly collaborative relationship with Head of School, Director of Finance, and Church Rector
Oversee the publication of the annual report,
Share the Spirit
and the Annual Philanthropy Report.
Engage in grant writing to augment educational opportunities and resources for students.
Manage the Advancement & Marketing Associate and direct the following items:
Online content across platforms
Web production and graphic development for online and print materials
Videography and photography of events on campus as needed
Studying website and social media analytics to improve various marketing campaigns
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Master’s Degree (Preferred)
Years of Experience
Must possess a minimum of five years of experience spearheading fundraising or development initiatives
SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience with fundraising and advancement in non-profit sector
Experience executing capital campaigns
Proven track record as a leader
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Strong organization, computer, and data management skills
Event planning skills
Supervisory experience
