Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Bars & Beverage to oversee the operations of our bars, including the lobby, pool, and other F&B outlets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional service to our customers and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.

- Prepare and serve a wide range of high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.

- Conduct ongoing training for the bar staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment through mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback.

- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.

- Design and implement creative beverage menus and promotions to enhance guest experience.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.

- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director, Executive Chef, and Marketing team to plan beverage promotions and support special events.

- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in beverage management, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
  • Must be able to obtain the LA responsible vendor card.
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine the hotel's beverage program, including wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings.
  • Align the beverage program with the hotel’s brand, target clientele, and culinary direction
  • Conduct regular training on service standards, product knowledge, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Analyze sales data and adjust strategies to meet revenue and cost targets.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director, Executive Chef, and Marketing team to align goals and drive business success.
