Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $187,000 – $208,000 per year

Position Overview

Join a respected healthcare organization in Oakland as the Director of Behavioral Health. This full-time leadership role oversees clinical operations, supports multidisciplinary teams, and ensures the delivery of high-quality, integrated behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of behavioral health programs, staffing, and compliance
• Provide leadership and supervision to clinical and administrative teams
• Develop and implement policies to meet accreditation and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with medical and community partners for coordinated care
• Monitor performance metrics and drive program improvement initiatives
• Support team development through mentorship and ongoing training
• Contribute to strategic planning and service expansion efforts

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or related field
• Current California licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD, PsyD, or RN with psychiatric background)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in behavioral health, including leadership roles
• Strong understanding of clinical best practices and community mental health systems
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
