Responsibilities:

Devise and deliver

optimized revenue and gross margin targets through sales and other business activities.
Develop,

negotiate, and implement commercial collaborations through sales

agreements, strategic alliances, licensing, franchising, joint ventures, joint

development, and other means.
Develop, communicate,

and implement strategic approaches to market entry and new business development for new products and services.
Manage and optimize existing customer relationships.
Develop and optimize the

company product portfolio, pricing and sales plans and associated

milestones, deliverables, and metrics.
Leverage

experience and deep market knowledge in the polyester and/or caps and closures market, including

volumes, pricing and value propositions, to shape strategy across the

business.
Assess the

characteristics and functionality of Origin’s Polyester offering including caps and closures products and

identify appropriate products and applications to support the strongest

value propositions against current and future market needs.
Devise and

manage external communication with marketing and product teams.
Articulate

priorities and coordinate with engineering and R&D resources to align

with the strategy.
Provide

detailed inputs to market techno-economic analysis and coordinate with

finance as it pertains to the polyester business.
Manage the

interface and ensure efficient communication between R&D,

manufacturing, marketing, engineering, shared services, etc.

Qualifications:

Educational requirements

Bachelors

Degree+

Relevant experience

10+ years of direct

B2B commercial experience in the global marketplace
Significant experience

within the polyester/specialty polyesters/Caps and Closures/Packaging industry or related

Skills and competencies

Strategy Development
B2B Sales
Product Market Placement

Preferred Qualifications:

Fundamental

business acumen: strategy, portfolio views, financial analysis, industry,

and market knowledge
Excellent

negotiation, communication and creative problem solving skills.

Salary Range:

T

his position is a Level 5 at Origin Materials. The pay range for this position level at Origin Materials is $150,000 - $210,000. This range is not necessarily a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education and other factors.
