A leading hospital system in Las Cruces, NM is hiring a Director of Case Management. This full-time, onsite leadership role oversees case management operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives patient-centered care initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all operations within the Case Management department, ensuring alignment with hospital and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.
Manage departmental resources to ensure financial performance and operational efficiency.
Foster staff development, engagement, and ongoing education to ensure high-quality care and compliance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and meet organizational goals.
Monitor and maintain regulatory compliance and standards of care.
Maintain open communication with staff, leadership, and external partners to drive departmental effectiveness.
Flexibility for scheduling based on operational needs, including potential for holidays, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Management preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of nursing experience.
At least 3 years of Utilization Review and Case Management experience.
At least 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Licensure/Certifications:
Active RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred:
Certification in Case Management (CCM or ACM) is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
Base Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 annually (depending on experience)
