We are currently searching for an experienced

Director of Civil/Highway Engineering to support our Mid Atlantic Region located in Pennsylvania .
What you’ll be doing:
Oversee and participate in the design and review of all phases of highway plan development for our various transportation projects
Responsible for identifying and pursuing highway project opportunities
Responsible for the senior management and oversight of highway projects
Support services will consist of both programmatic and project-specific tasks
Associated activities include risk assessment, capital & maintenance cost assessment, and the preparation of appropriate contractual requirements and recommendations
This category also includes directing financial, legal, contract management and administration, technical, and project/construction administration and management oversight teams to support the development of documents to serve as administrative manuals, checklists and other forms of guidance relative to alternate delivery transportation projects and contracts
Manage a team of professional and administrative staff, as well as coordinate with financial, legal, procurement, contract management and administration, technical, and project/construction administration and management personnel that work on the Program
What you need to have:
Qualified candidates will have, at a minimum, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
Professional engineering license in PA is required
10 + years of civil engineering experience, along with staff management experience
Good verbal and written communication skills are required
Experience executing projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
Experience with roadway design software which may include MicroStation and Open Roads Designer 3D Modelerand other engineering related programs
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem resolution abilities
Require good collaborative skills with a strong work ethic
The successful candidate will have experience in highway design including:

Highway geometrics, roadway modeling and cross section development, grading and drainage, erosion and sediment control, storm water management, traffic control, signing and pavement marking, utility coordination, andright-of-wayacquisition and constructionplan development.
