Job Description - Director of Clinical Network Administration


Urgent Surgery Associates (URSA) - a subsidiary of Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (“IES”) - is seeking a Director of Clinical Network Administration who will be responsible for the independent oversight in managing key administrative functions and strategic planning for the enterprise. This role is responsible for standardizing and optimizing administrative business operations, in alignment with corporate growth initiatives, while overseeing the financial health of the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities listed here represent the majority of the role but are not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned.

  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategy for business operations.
  • Identify and communicate operational performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
  • Lead special projects aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness, process improvement, and data reporting.
  • Implement and oversee the refinement and standardization of provider contact agreements in alignment with employment structures and compensations models that support fiscal responsibility.  
  • Collaborate with finance, analytics and revenue cycle teams for preparedness of Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), supporting monitoring and reporting of financial health and AR trends across the enterprise.
  • Monitor and support end-to-end workflows that span multiple departments, ensuring operational requirements, timelines, and service expectations are met.
  • Drive adoption, training, and optimization of technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and staff productivity to support scalability of growth initiatives.
  • Develop and define compliance policies and standard operating procedures in partnership with operations, legal and compliance teams.
  • Partner with department leaders to align processes, responsibilities, and operational performance standards across the network.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for interdepartmental coordination, proactively identifying gaps, dependencies, and process breakdowns that impact operational and financial performance.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal billing managers to evaluate provider documentation trends and proactively address downstream financial and compliance risks.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring consistent application of regulatory standards.
  • Develop and oversee continuous marketing enhancements of the network’s visual representation.
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of enterprise growth initiatives, ensuring operational scalability, alignment with organizational objectives, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of standardized administrative workflows that promote consistency and operational efficiency across departments.
  • Serve as an escalation point for administrative operational issues that require cross-department collaboration or leadership intervention.
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to assigned administrative support staff.
  • Support onboarding, training and performance development of network administrative team members.
  • Conduct routine performance reviews to ensure accountability, alignment with operational goals and professional development.

  • In-depth understanding of healthcare operations, strategic planning, and financial planning and analysis
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable outcomes aligned with organizational goals
  • Ability to lead, foster collaboration, and manage change in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Ability to communicate and present to executive leadership, physicians, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and manage multiple projects at an enterprise level using judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.

Education / Experience: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations with demonstrated knowledge in surgical or specialty practice setting. 
  • Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW).
  • Strong understanding of operational performance in surgical clinic settings.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS).
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and supervisory skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in healthcare administration or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to:  remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds 
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

  • Primarily Corporate and office environments

  • May visit hospital, clinic, and vendor partners
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low

  • Local travel within DFW required

    • Additional clinics throughout DFW
