An established residential behavioral health program is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to provide clinical leadership and oversight for its substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment services. This role supervises counselors and interns, oversees clinical programming and documentation, and ensures compliance with organizational policies, Oklahoma regulations, and national accreditation standards.
The Director of Clinical Services will work closely with the Executive Director and multidisciplinary treatment team to maintain high-quality, trauma-informed care. The position may also carry a small clinical caseload, facilitate groups, provide educational programming, and cover clinical services when needed.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to counselors, interns, and other clinical staff
Oversee treatment programming, clinical schedules, caseload assignments, and coverage
Ensure treatment plans and clinical documentation are timely, accurate, and compliant
Lead chart audits, peer reviews, staff training, and clinical quality-improvement efforts
Maintain compliance with Oklahoma regulations, ODMHSAS requirements, Joint Commission standards, and organizational policies
Support trauma-informed, evidence-based care and provide limited direct clinical coverage when needed
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, addiction studies, or a related behavioral health field
Active Oklahoma clinical license in good standing
At least four years of clinical experience in substance use, psychiatric, crisis intervention, or co-occurring disorder treatment
At least two years of clinical or administrative supervisory experience
Residential behavioral health or substance use treatment experience
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 anually. Schedule: Full-time. Standard hours. Setting: Residential substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment. Benefits: Standard.
