Job Description - Director of Clinical Services RN (registered nurse)
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Services (RN) to join our team. As the Director of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all clinical operations within our organization. This is a key leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent management skills, and a passion for providing high-quality care. You must have a valid RN license in the state of Oregon.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for all clinical services.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Manage and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and other clinical staff.
Oversee the coordination of patient care, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of clinical services
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Valid nursing license in the state of Oregon
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role and/or home-based care
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and medical records management
Experience in hospice, home care, assisted living, acute care, or home health settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Role may require travel up to 50% of business days in supported territory.
Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts and practices and ability to use in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations.
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.
