Director of CMG

Description

The Director of CMG will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all CMG program operations, including supervision of staff, staff training, advocacy efforts, and ensuring compliance with funding agency regulations. This individual will champion the mission of empowering individuals who face barriers to employment, ensuring high-quality services, and developing strong community partnerships. 

Requirements

Staff Supervision & Development

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to Job Placement staff.
   
• Conduct annual staff evaluations, weekly team meetings, and ongoing performance monitoring.
   
• Ensure staff documentation meets state and federal guidelines.
   
• Deliver regular training and quality assurance feedback.

Program Operations & Compliance

• Ensure schedules meet required billable service hours and provide oversight of service delivery quality.
   
• Maintain compliance with insurance, risk management, and regulatory bodies.
   
• Lead the preparation and participation in semi-annual Vocational Rehabilitation compliance reviews.
   
• Integrate accreditation and regulatory standards into daily practices.

Advocacy & Individual Support

• Advocate for persons served and empower individuals to advocate for themselves.
   
• Monitor individuals’ work environments to promote independence and positive practices.
   
• Ensure individuals’ service plans reflect their needs, goals, and aspirations.
   
• Utilize or identify adaptive tools to support individuals’ job success.

Organizational Leadership

• Serve as an active member of the GRS management team.
   
• Lead and participate in internal committees (e.g., peer review, marketing).
   
• Promote performance improvement and corporate responsibility across CMG.
   
• Balance expectations of stakeholders, including persons served and funders.

Community & Employer Engagement

• Cultivate relationships with advocacy organizations, local employers, and community partners.
   
• Represent CMG in communications with Vocational Rehabilitation offices.
   
• Analyze local job market needs to inform service delivery and employment strategies.
