Job Summary: The Director of Sales, Advertising and Sponsorships is responsible for generating new business and growing revenue through advertising and sponsorship sales. This role requires an outgoing, proactive salesperson who thrives on building relationships, reaching out to potential partners, and securing new business. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for selling and executing corporate and sponsorship opportunities, managing accounts, and ensuring seamless event execution. The ideal candidate is an autonomous, tech-savvy professional with industry experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identify, prospect, and secure new sponsorship and advertising clients.
· Proactively engage with potential partners through email, phone, and in-person meetings to generate new business.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional businesses.
· Cultivate new corporate partnerships team by developing proposals, generating leads, conducting presentations, and negotiating contracts.
· Generate new opportunities through direct delivery of sales presentations.
· Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling sales materials.
· Present advertising and sponsorship opportunities to potential partners in a clear and persuasive manner.
· Meet and exceed sales targets for digital board advertising, field naming rights, and event sponsorships.
· Exercise sound judgement when prospecting potential corporate partners to ensure alignment with the company brand, mission and vision
· Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field.
· Minimum 2 years of proven and successful sales experience (B2B sales experience preferred).
· Understanding of CRM software is a plus (familiarity with cold email software and lead creation tools is beneficial).
· We welcome applicants from all sales backgrounds—experience in sports, sponsorships, or media sales is a bonus but not necessary.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
· Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales campaigns.

· Ability to be highly productive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate will be in a normal office environment while performing the duties of this job and will be required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. In addition, associate will drive to other businesses and locations to conduct company business, including the outdoor sports complex.
