This role will lead the day-to-day operations of the school while shaping curriculum, managing instructors, and ensuring students are progressing toward licensure.
This is a leadership role for someone who can build structure, maintain compliance, and elevate the overall student experience — whether coming from the electrical field or an education-focused background.
What You’ll Own
Lead day-to-day school operations, including instructors and administrative staff
Oversee curriculum delivery across in-person, livestream, and online formats
Ensure programs align with state licensing requirements and regulatory standards
Monitor student progress, completion rates, and overall experience
Resolve escalated student or instructional issues
Support enrollment growth and admissions efforts
Identify opportunities to expand course offerings and programs
Maintain compliance with state education and licensing requirements, including audits and reporting
Build and maintain a strong, professional, student-focused culture
We are open to candidates from one of two backgrounds:
Path A — Electrical Industry Leadership
Master Electrician license (Maine preferred or ability to obtain)
Strong background in the electrical field (5+ years)
Experience leading teams, projects, or training programs
Deep understanding of NEC and licensing pathways
Path B — Education / Instructional Leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (teaching credential preferred)
Experience in instruction, curriculum development, or academic leadership
Exposure to skilled trades, workforce development, or technical training environments preferred
Ability to manage instructors and deliver structured learning programs
