Director of Emergency Services

We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead our fast-paced Emergency Department in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Emergency Department
• Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing clinical team focused on quality and patient safety
• Oversee departmental operations, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership to improve workflows and patient outcomes
• Partner with pre-hospital providers and community stakeholders to strengthen emergency care services

Qualifications Required:

• Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license
• 7+ years of healthcare experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree (MSN, MBA, or Healthcare Administration) strongly preferred
• Proven experience in a for-profit hospital setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in building and leading teams with a focus on quality initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience fostering strong relationships with pre-hospital providers and EMS partners
