Title : Director of Fencing Operations

Position Summary:

Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the part time position (19.9 hours per week maximum) of Director of Fencing Operations. The position holder will organize, plan and execute team tasks and events.

Essential Functions:
•Help plan travel for away competitions, including creating itineraries and communicating with the travel agent and the Duke Business Office.
•Help order equipment for student-athletes.
•Serve as meet director for the Duke Home meet.
•Help organize alumni events, such as reunions and meets.
•Help plan the end-of-season team banquet.
•Submit roster changes if needed on ARMS.
•Submit the NCAA roster on the NCAA website.
•Help coordinate communication with other colleges for away competitions.
•Help coordinate communication with recruits and organize official visits, including transportation and campus tours.
•Maintain the integrity of the athletics program and the university's reputation.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree required
•Experience working with a Division I Fencing program
•A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules.
