Team - Senior Accountant, Payroll Accounting Specialist, 2 Accounts Payable, Admin
The Director of Finance reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for overseeing financial management for the Boise Centre and the Greater Boise Auditorium District (The District). This includes direct oversight for accounting, banking, cash management, insurance, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, contract analysis, analysis, investor relationships and private and institutional financing. This position is responsible for ensuring that organizational structure, processes, systems, and people are aligned with the strategy set forth by The District and Boise Centre.
Day to Day duties:
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related experience
5-6 years progressively responsible financial leadership roles desired
PREFER Public sector budgeting, procurement, and financial administration experience, preferred
PREFER Active CPA license
Skills/Abilities
• Ability to establish and implement strong internal controls and cash management
procedures
• Advanced computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Advanced record keeping, spreadsheet, and word processing and data entry skills

and financial statements.
