Director of Finance And Operations

Our client is a well-established, national professional services firms.

We are seeking to identify a Director of Finance and Operations to oversee accounting + finance, human resources, staff management, and various other internal functions.

Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance : Oversee accounting functions, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and customer collections. Manage banking, insurance, and tax engagements.
Human Resources : Handle recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training, payroll, benefits, 401k management, and updates to the Employee Handbook.
Technology : Liaise with third-party tech providers, assess service quality, manage software/hardware services, and oversee cyber/AI initiatives.
System Administration : Administer Salesforce, Certinia PSA and FFA, SurveyMonkey Enterprise, SMARSH, Egnyte, and other tools. Train employees, troubleshoot issues, and manage service contracts.
Administration : Supervise administrative staff, manage facility operations, and maintain relationships with landlords and service providers.
Executive Interaction : Collaborate with ownership, executive management, and team leaders on various administrative tasks and ad hoc projects.
Vendor Management : Serve as the primary contact for banking, insurance, accounting, legal, recruiting, and other key service providers.

Requirements:
Experienced finance and HR executive with a background in small to mid-sized private businesses.
Proficient in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for strategic decision-making.
Skilled in hiring, managing, and developing diverse staff.
Adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
Technologically adept with cloud-based project management, CRM, and accounting systems.
Strong focus on recruitment and onboarding of professionals.
Effective problem solver with decision-making authority.
Ability to manage multiple projects, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines.
Client service-oriented with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
