Director of Fundraising

You'll be the primary fundraiser, responsible for designing and executing donor cultivation strategies. This remote role requires significant travel to meet current and potential donors. Occasionally, you'll visit our corporate headquarters for meetings and events.

Expectations and Responsibilities :

Travel approximately 50% of the time, including air travel and extensive driving.

Design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies.

Collaborate with staff and volunteers to align fundraising with organizational goals.

Engage in face-to-face and virtual donor solicitations.

Develop corporate/foundation donation and grant strategies.

Create and execute a strategic plan for donor cultivation and solicitation.

Prepare solicitation and briefing materials.

Set and achieve revenue goals with the COO.

Maintain positive relationships with volunteer leadership and Fraternity staff.

Train volunteers on fundraising.

Stay updated on fundraising trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Experience in non-profit fundraising.

Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting volunteer teams.

Preferred: Fundraising experience in membership organizations or educational settings.

Understanding of tax guidelines for non-profit gifts and endowments.

Self-starter, willing to travel extensively, work long hours, including nights and weekends.
