Director of HMO

Position: Director of HMO Billing

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of HMO Billing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare billing, specifically in the HMO sector, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Role and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with external billing partners to ensure maximum efficiency.

Oversee the entire HMO billing process, including claims submission, payment posting, and collections

Monitor and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Ensure compliance with all HMO billing regulations and guidelines

Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency

Build and maintain relationships with HMO representatives to resolve any billing-related issues

Train and educate staff on HMO billing processes and procedures

Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of billing records

Generate reports and present findings to senior management on a regular basis

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare billing, with a focus on HMO contracts

Strong understanding of HMO billing guidelines and regulations

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Proven track record of improving billing processes and increasing revenue

Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on findings

Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience managing a team and providing training and support

Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is a plus
