Role: Director of Hospital Integrations
Hours: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, Flexible Schedule
Travel: 50% national travel and offsite work expectation

Once the joint venture is formed, VPP provides support and leadership for marketing, financial, operations, IT, and human resources functions while the veterinarian leads the clinical and client services functions. Summary:
The Director of Hospital Integrations is a new role at VPP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all existing processes related to the integration of hospitals undergoing partnership with VPP. Further, this person will develop and implement new processes and systems that either address gaps or enhance the effectiveness of currently adequate processes. The Director will serve as the primary point of contact and direction for hospital teams and VPP team-members starting at handoff from Business Development all the way through the first month post-partnership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Integration Leadership:
- Collaborate with Business Development and Operations to develop and own the end-to-end integration plan for each new hospital partner
- Coordinate and direct cross-functional teams of Integration Leads (HR, finance, IT, Operations, Marketing, Legal) through the integration plans
- Serve as the sole POC for new hospital partner teams and owners through the integration plans
- Process Management:
- Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of appropriate hospital systems and processes (payroll, HR, finance & accounting, AP, IT)
- Ensure compliance will all regulatory, HR, finance, and IT requirements
- On-site Support & Leadership:
- Be present for approximately 2 weeks around each Partnership Day. This generally would entail the days leading up to Partnership Day and more importantly, the 10-15 days following Partnership Day.
- While on-site, serve as the primary POC for hospital staff to resolve issues in real-time.
- Communication & Training:
- Partner with internal team members as well as new hospital staff to clearly communicate integration plans, expectations, and requirements for successful integration.
- Coordinate all training sessions to ensure hospital staffs are prepared for VPP systems, processes, and culture.
- Track integration timelines and milestones and report out to VPP Exec Team status updates throughout integrations
- Continuous Improvement:
- Ongoing identification of pain points or inefficiencies in the integration process
- Development and implementation of process improvements or efficiency improvements after every integration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management and/or equivalent experience in healthcare or veterinary care operations, mergers & acquisitions, integrations, or project management
- Excellent communications abilities
- Effective troubleshooting skills
Ideal Candidates will Possess:
- The ability to transition hospitals through partnership day with minimal disruption to patients, clients, or staff (both the new hospital staff and VPP team).
- The ability to fully onboard partner hospitals in VPP systems and culture within 30-60 days post- partnership day.
- Drive a consistent, repeatable, and constantly improving playbook to integrate with scale and our growth in mind.

- The employee will constantly be operating a computer and other office productivity.
- The employee may occasionally be required to lift and or move up to 20lbs by themselves.
