What are we looking for?
We are presently seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Director for our active continuing care retirement community located in Burlington, NC. If you enjoy being a part of a team environment and possess initiative, a heart for service, and enthusiasm, we want you!
The HR Director works with the site leadership and corporate HR team to provide human resources leadership to the community, ensuring an exceptional work environment for dedicated staff to provide outstanding service for our residents. Focus includes recruitment, coaching, training/development, morale, culture, policy/practices, performance appraisals, and quality management. Proven leadership experience is needed to assist in growing/integrating our team and aligning culture with Kintura’s mission and values.

Qualifications for Successful Candidates:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Passion and innovation for employees, teams, and senior services
• Creativity and the drive to lead a diverse team
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Drive to excel, while being person centered
• Demonstrated success with organizational culture initiatives/projects
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing along with strong, multi-tasking, organizational, and computer skills
• Knowledge of policy/regulations pertaining to retirement communities, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, and OSHA requirements

The Village at Brookwood (‘TVAB”) opened in 2003 and offers continuing care retirement community care for older adults through independent living and four levels of health care. TVAB has nearly 300 residents who are served by approximately 160 team members.
