Description
We're in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations including recruiting, onboarding, and training, play a key role in strategic planning and business administration, and ensure we are in compliance with the most recent employment laws. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players.
Hotel experience required.
Responsibilities
•Enact and implement human resources programs including benefits, compensation, company evaluation, and training
•Hold exit interviews with employees and record their feedback to optimize our policies and procedures
•Manage the relationship between employees and managers and advise on important issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
•Help shape decision-making through data-driven recommendations on strategic planning, business administration, and the annual budget
•Find qualified candidates, interview top talent, and onboard and train new employees
Qualifications
•Hotel experience required
•Candidates should be excellent leaders and communicators with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
•Bachelor's degree in business management, HR management or related major
•Certified with the SHRM or a similar certification institute
•3+ years as an HR manager, senior HR generalist, or in an upper-level HR position
