About the Role:
Reporting directly to the President, this role leads HR strategy and operations, including talent management, recruitment, compliance, employee relations, benefits, and safety. You'll be a key part of the executive leadership team driving organizational growth and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the HR department, policies, and budget
Develop recruiting, on-boarding, and retention strategies
Oversee training, performance management, and development programs
Administer benefits, payroll, and 401(k) plan administration
Ensure legal compliance with labor laws, OSHA, EEOC, and safety regulations
Support employee relations and conflict resolution efforts
Drive organizational development initiatives and safety programs
Must Have:
10+ years of progressive HR management experience, with at least 3 years at Director level or above, demonstrating strong HR generalist skills
Masters degree preferred, or Bachelors degree with commensurate experience in Business Administration or Human Resources; SPHR/PHR certification a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to respond quickly to changing needs and requirements with diligence and high ethical standards
Strategic thinker with the capacity to manage both detailed day-to-day HR operations and long-term planning
Thorough knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
